《牛津初中英語》7A教案Unit 3 Let’s celebrate!

一、本單元的教學目標:

1、能聽、說、讀、寫單詞festival, as, why,

……等,並瞭解其含義;能聽懂,會說,celebrate, ghost, king ……等單詞以及dress

up, the Mid-Autumn Festival ……等短語,能理解dragon, Halloween

……等單詞和the Dragon Boat Festival ……等短語。

2、掌握介詞at, on, in表達時間的用法及其在不同交際情景中的運用。

3、運用wh-questions互相交流有關的人或事物的資訊。

4、理解和掌握some與any的基本用法。

5、瞭解中外一些重要的節假日及主要慶祝方式、培養學生對中外文化的理解能力,提高

學生對中外文化異同的鑑別能力,培養學生的世界文化意識,增強學生對民族文化的自豪

感。

二、本單元的教學重點:

1、日常交際用語的運用以及單詞的正確讀音。

2、能運用介詞at, on, in談論時刻、月份、年份、季節並能相互進行資訊交流。

3、理解掌握what, which, who, whose, when, where, why, how等疑問詞的不同含義,

及其用法。

4、掌握some與any在不同句式中的使用。

三、本單元的教學難點:

1、 能運用本單元所學的交際用語。

2、 理解並掌握特殊疑問句的語序。

3、 理解並掌握some 在疑問句中的特殊含義。

第 一 教 時

Comic strip+ Welcome to the unit+vocabulary

一、 教學目標

1. 能聽、說、讀、寫單詞holiday, monkey, why, mooncake, May, card, rice 並瞭解

其含義。能聽懂、會說單詞celebrate, ghost, king, festival, Christmas, Easter,

monkey短語dress up, as the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day能理解單詞dragon,

Halloween,短語the Dragon Boat Festival, rice, dumplings。

2. 能瞭解中外一些重要的節假日,節假日的背景及主要慶祝方式,從而激發對本單元的

學習興趣,並初步培養自己的世界文化意識。

3. 能掌握一年中幾個主要節日的名稱並瞭解其日期。

4. 能就有關“個人對節日的喜好”情況相互進行簡單詢問及回答。

5. 能在教師的指導下,參與簡單的角色扮演活動。

二、 教學重點

1. 日常交際用語和生詞的正確讀音;

2. 能模仿第35頁Part B的對話,簡單談論個人對節假日的喜好情況。

三、 教學難點

1. 能根據相關情景,正確地理解,區分相應的節假日名稱;

2. 能初步在情景中運用本課所學的互相詢問節假日的交際用語。

四、 課前準備

1. 教具準備:實物投影儀,幕布、四幅卡通漫畫圖片(34頁)、六幅圖片(第35頁Part A)

、一張人物圖片,(《西遊記》中孫悟空的形象的面具)。檯曆,賀卡,四幅圖片(第40頁

PartB)。

2. 教學準備:請學生準備一張白紙並兩人一組討論寫出他們所知道的節日名稱(中文)及

檯曆,賀卡等本課所需實物或圖片。

3. 板書準備:黑板上預先寫好課題Unit 3 Let’s celebrate!

五、 教學步驟

Task 1(第34頁 Comic strip)

1. 教師用實物投影出示第34頁卡通圖片,指着圖片說Look! We can see Eddie and

Hobo again.

(圖片1)問:What are they doing? Can you guess? 幫助學生回答:I think they’re

celebrating their holiday.學習並操練單詞:celebrate, holiday。

Holiday-the day you don’t have to go to school.

Celebrate-do something for the day.

(圖片3)問:What is Eddie doing? (He’s dressing up as a ghost)用手勢或其它動作

、表情教學生短語dress up as……和單詞ghost。然後問:Do you like dressing up as

a ghost?

(No, we don’t). Eddie doesn’t like, either.

(圖片4)問:What’s Hobo dressing up as now?(He is dressing up as Monkey King).

學習單詞monkey和king.教師出示孫悟空圖片,Do you know him? We often call him

Monkey King.(可以讓喜歡孫悟空的學生利用面具模仿其造型)Who can dress up as

Monkey King?

2. 教師領讀,學生跟讀。學生兩人一組練習對話,並輪流扮作Eddie和Hobo,幾分鐘後,

讓一些小組到前面表演,鼓勵學生自由發揮,儘量用自己的造型。

Task 2 (第35頁Welcome to the unit)

1. 老師讓學生展示事先準備好的節日清單並稱贊:Very good! 介紹課本內容:In this

unit, I will help you to learn more about the Festivals in

English.學習單詞festival(s),並寫在黑板上。用實物投影出示第35頁Part A圖片(按以

下順序介紹)

圖片2-→圖片4-→圖片6-→圖片5-→圖片3-→圖片1

中國節日:直接用英語教短語Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat

Festival,並寫在黑板上。

西方節日:允許學生先用中文猜測,然後告訴他們:In English, we call it

Christmas/Easter/Halloween,並逐詞寫在黑板上。

領讀數遍單詞、短語後,再用實物投影出示第35頁Part A圖片,詢問學生:What’s the

name of the festival? 然後學生兩人一組活動,互相問答。讓他們有充分的感知。

2. 告訴學生:My favourite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. Do you know why?

Because I like to eat mooncakes.學習單詞mooncake,可用簡筆畫來表示,相信學生能

猜出其含義。

板書:My favourite festival is……

Because I like to ……

要求學生仿照黑板上的例句介紹自己的喜好情況,展開小組交流活動。老師可巡視,進行

必要幫助。

3. 開啟書,帶領學生富有感情地朗讀Part B,採用男女生分組分角色方式朗讀。

學生兩人一組練習對話,再進行表演。

4. 讓學生用自己的資訊替換劃線部分,鼓勵他們用真實情況來表演對話,可四人一組活

動。爲方便學生自如地表達,老師可提供以下詞彙並板書:

eat chocolate/make pumpkin Lanterns.

eat rice dumplings/get Christmas presents/(此舉也爲以後的閱讀教學帶來方便。

5. 選出幾組同學到前面表演,可讓他們看黑板上的選用詞彙。鼓勵他們增加動作,提高

表演慾望。在表演以後,領着其他同學給予掌聲鼓勵。

Task 3(第40 頁Vocabulary)

1. 教師問:Which special days of the year do you know? 把days of the year寫在

黑板上,學生兩人一組討論。然後將蒐集到的資訊如New Year’s Day, May

Day,Children’s Day,Teachers’ Day,National Day,Chirsmas Day等寫在days of the

year下面。然後在節日右邊用阿拉伯數字表達法寫出一些日期順序打亂,讓學生上黑板用

線連接相應的節日名稱,並學習短語:

National Day, May Day, New Year’s Day.

2.用檯曆呈現句型:問學生:What day is it? Do we have to go to school? 讓

學生用Yes or No回答. 並讓學生用自備的檯曆進行問答。然後讓學生分組討論,完成課

本第40頁Part A。          

3.主學生看黑板上的節日名稱,問:Whose favourite festival is …?Why do you

like it?當呈現到Christmas時,出示賀卡,學習單詞card並板書。Look. Here are

different kinds of Christmas card, I like Christmas because I can get the

cards. 接着用實物或圖片教短語rice dumplings,並用the Dragon Boat

Festival聯繫:Why do you like the Dragon Boat Festival?(Because I like to eat

rice dumplings.)並操練。

開啟書本,要求學生完成Part B的筆頭填空。全班校對答案並分組朗讀四個句子。

六. 家庭作業

1.熟讀第34頁、35頁對話。

2.抄寫本課所學節日名稱。

3.鼓勵有條件、特長的學生課外製作南瓜燈剪紙、手提燈籠及面具等,或畫出相應的圖

片也可。

Reading: A Getting ready for Halloween

一、 教學目標

1. 聽、說、讀、寫單詞USA,special, shout, if, face, own, cut, sharp(adj),

tooth, chocolate, winter, drink,短語cut

out並瞭解其含義。能聽懂、會說單詞trick, treat, knock, candy, mask, paint,

lantern, sharp(n)短語trick or treat,play a trick。能理解單詞costume, pumpkin

2. 能正確理解本課課文,就獲取的資訊進行相互詢問及回答。

3. 能透過本課學習,對英語國家的文化習俗產生興趣。

二、 教學重點

1. 生詞和短語的正確讀音。

2. 能透過閱讀準確獲取資訊並能基本正確地朗讀課文。

1. 能在教師的指導下,簡單地複述故事。

五、 教學步驟

Task (第36-37頁)

1. 教師用實物投影展示第35 頁Part A 圖2,問:What’s the name of the

festival?(It’s Mid-Autumn Festival)指着圖中男孩提着的燈籠,教單詞Lantern:

This is a lantern in English.教師說:Show me your lanterns, please! 讓學生出示

他們製作的實物或圖片。接着,展示圖片1:What’s the name of the festival?(It’s

Halloween).告訴學生:This is a pumpkin lantern.把lantern寫在黑板上。最後展示圖

片3。讓一學生用第35頁Part B的對話發問:Which is your favourite

festival?(Easter)Why do you like it?(Because I like to eat chocolate eggs .(用

手指着圖片中的chocolate eggs),再板書chocolate。

2. 介紹課本內容:Today we’re going to learn something about Halloween

China, we do not celebrate Halloween. But in the USA , people celebrate it.

They have a special party on that day. And they play a game called “trick or

treat”, They also wear different costumes with masks. They even paint their

faces. People do not know each other. They make pumpkin lanterns, eat a lot of

chocolates and candies. Don’t you think how interesting it is?(Yes).教師伴着

手勢、表情,藉助於學生手中的實物或圖片,給學生簡單描述,並將上文的劃線部分寫在

黑板上,然後讓學生分組展開討論:What do people in the USA do for Halloween? 組

織學生收集資訊,並互相交流。

3. 放課文錄音,聽一遍。Now, please listen to the tape. This is a letter from

Wendy to Millie. Try to answer: When is Halloween?(板書) 並把答案(On

October 31st)寫在黑板上。

4. 開啟書本,讓學生細讀一遍課文,然後就課文內容提一些問題

Paragraph1: What’s Wendy’s favourite festival?

Paragraph2: How do you play the game called “trick or treat”?

Paragraph3: How do they dress up at Halloween?

Paragraph4: How do you make your own pumpkin lantern?/What do people do with

pumpkin?

Paragraph5: What do they eat on that day?

學生分組討論及交流問題答案。教師在班上巡視,參與學生的討論並給予適當的幫助。

讓他們透過手勢、表情等動作或上下文猜出shout, own, cut, sharp, tooth, winter等

生詞的含義,如有必要,可給予適當的漢語提示。

5. 再放一遍錄音,讓學生跟着錄音,模仿語音、語調進行朗讀訓練,提醒學生注意黑板

上生詞的正確讀音。

6. 讓部分學生根據圖片,課文內容及板書分段複述課文

7. 讓學生以解說員的身份,向同學們介紹萬聖節的情況。

8. 讓一些同學根據萬聖節的有關內容,表演出萬聖節歡快的情景。

1. 複習鞏固上一課所學單詞、短語。

2. 能流利地運用所學語言表達不同的情景。

三、 教學難點

1. 能透過閱讀獲取簡單的資訊 。

2. 能在交流中用英語介紹祖國傳統文化。

四、 課前準備

1. 教具準備:實物投影儀幕布、四幅圖片(第38頁Part B)

2. 教學準備:請學生準備一些自制實物或圖片。

五、 教學步驟

Task 1

教師用實物投影展示上一課的複述提綱,鼓勵更多的同學到前面複述 celebrating

Halloween.也可採用小組集體複述形式。即該小組每位同學各複述到一兩句。還可讓其他

小組進行補充。

Task 2

1. 教師說: I’m glad to see that most of you know how to celebrate Halloween.

And if you are Millie , your friends wants to have a Halloween party with you

do you have to do? Please look at the pictures on Page 39.讓學生看第39

頁C2的圖片,分組說出相應的短語:buy some chocolates, want special costumes,

make a pumpkin lantern, dress up as a tiger,然後指導學生按要求完成書中任務。

2. 投影儀展示第39頁C1,指着headings告訴同學們:

Middlie wants to tell her classmates about Halloween. She makes a poster and

uses these you help her find which paragraphs they are in ?You

can say out the correct numbers for each heading.讓學生快速瀏覽第36-37頁課文

,兩人一組,尋找答案並互相覈對,然後寫在書上。

3. 用投影展示第38頁Part B圖片,並在黑板上給出party, pumpkin lantern, special

costume, trick or treat 等關聯詞或短語,說,OK!Then let me check if you know

names one by one .學生兩人一組討論答案,然後選出一些小組與全班同學覈對,並把答

案寫在書上。

4. 遊戲

把學生分成若干小組,每組由同學們選出一位代表,扮演Millie ,到前面向全班同學介紹

有關Halloween的資訊。該代表若有困難,可以有三次機會向本組同學“求助”,以說出

句子數多者爲優勝,相同成績則以“求助”次數少的爲優勝。最後帶領全班同學爲獲勝者

所在小組鼓掌並贈送同學們的自制實物或圖片,以示鼓勵。

5. 開啟書本,學生兩人一組完成第38頁Part B2,全班覈對答案。

Task 3

1.讓學生看C1部分的標題同,然後兩人一組重新閱讀Wendy的信,在根據信中的關鍵詞及B1,

B2的內容,讓學生獨立完成練習,再全班一起中頭對答案,讓學生聯繫文中的“Heading

”編寫一段關於Halloween的文章。

2. 透過投影讓學生們看C2中的四幅圖。

介紹Millie和她的朋友們正在準備一個Halloween party. 不看彩框中的選項,讓學生猜

每幅圖片裏的人在說什麼,然後學生獨立完成練習,讓幾名學生讀出每幅圖的答案。讓能

力較強的學生看C2部分的圖片並加以描述。

1. 複習上一課所學單詞。

2. 根據所瞭解的資訊,運用上一課學過的語言,仿照第39頁C1中的Headings,製作一張有

關Halloween的poster。

Grammar: (A) Prepositions of time

一、 教學目標

1. 能聽、說、讀、寫單詞date, season, spring, summer, autumn, January,

February, March, April, June, July, August, September, November, December,

Sunday, Saturday並瞭解其含義。

使學生能聽懂、會說單詞during 。

2.; 使學生能初步掌握介詞at ,on, in表達時間的用法及在不同交際情景中的運用功能。

二、 教學重點

能熟練運用介詞談論時刻、月份、年份、季節,相互進行資訊交流。

三、 教學難點

能正確理解圖表所提供的資訊。

四、 教具準備

投影儀,活頁式檯曆。

五、 教學步驟

Task 1

(實物投影展示活頁檯曆)。

What day comes after Thursday? (Friday comes after Thursday)

What day comes after Friday? (Saturday comes after Friday.)

What day comes after Saturday?(Sunday comes after Saturday.)

學習單詞Saturday, Sunday,並寫在黑板上。同樣的方法用October引出其餘表月份的單詞

。用winter 引出其餘三個季節的單詞。隨後讓學生三人一組,用事先準備好的檯曆,操

練星期,月份以及季節的英文名稱。比一比,在規定時間內誰說的多,評出每組冠軍。

Task 2

1. 展示一組句子

eg:

When is Christmas? It’s in December.

It’s on 25th, December.

What do we eat at Christmas?

讓學生兩人一組或三人一組討論介詞at, on, in 在時間表達方式中的基本用法,再蒐集

資訊進行適當矯正和歸納。

2. 帶學生瀏覽Page 41,Part A中的表格,讓學生依照例句,用Example中的表短語 at

six o’clock, on Monday, in the morning等其它相似短語造句,可進行“造句競賽”

3. 開啟書本,讓學生完成Page 41, A1中的介詞填空,完成後兩人一組糾正錯誤,讓學生

集體朗讀,並作小結。

4. Millie writes a letter to Wendy about her week.

But she is not good at the Prepositions.

Use “at, in, on” to fill in the blanks.

獨立完成,選出一些同學逐句讀出答案,最後讓學生分組朗讀課文。

握其 基本用法。

2. 能正確區分some與any在不同句式中的使用。

Task 1

1. 師生對話開展Free talk:

What is your name? How old are you? When is your birthday? Where do you live?

Which is your favourite sport? Who is your favourite star? What do you do on

Sunday? Why do you like Mid–Autumn Festival?板書What, How ,When, Where,

Which, Who, Why.然後拿起一些學生的物品,問:Whose bag/pen/ruler is this? 再板

書Whose。

(1)、學生兩人一組,仿照以上問題,談論身邊的物品,或詢問對方的基本資訊,進行

語言交際訓練。

(2)、Part B中‘wh–’question圖表,幫助學生對語法項目進行歸納小結。

2. Millie is a good girl. She loves to ask questions . Do you like to ask

questions ? I think every one should love to ask questions in English.

讓學生完成Page 43,PartB1

檢查學生能否透過看圖觀察、聯想,正確地填出who、 what 、why等疑問句,藉助於圖片

教授單詞look, fishing.

3. 展示Page44 PartB2圖片,複習下列物品名稱:

the Dragon Boat Festival ,Christmas.

Mid-Autumn Festival ,Chinese New Year.

用圖片教單詞skateboard與學生交流下列問題

Why do you like the Dragon Boat Festival?

How do you celebrate Christmas ?

When is Chinese New Year this year?

再鼓勵學生用自己設計的“wh-”questions 來交流。

4. 學生完成Page44,Part B2填空練習

兩人一組覈對並糾正錯誤,再相互詢問,應答。

Task 2

展示Page45圖片

Look! What festival are they getting ready for ?(Christmas)

What does the girl want to buy ?(Some Christmas presents)

Does she have any money ?(No ,she doesn’t have any money.)

將some ,any 寫在黑板上,朗讀圖片上方對話,然後學生兩人一組,用其他物品替換,

操練對話。

七、 教學步驟

Task I

1.Warming up Play a game guess a festival specific questions to find out what

festival I am , but I can only say “Yes ”or “No”,在黑板上寫一些疑問句做示

範,先練習這些疑問句,如:Are you in August ? Do people send cards ? Do people

eat mooncakes?等。

在學生明白遊戲規則之後,將學生分成5人一組,其中一人想一個節日,其餘4人來提問他

(她)。

2.教師用投影儀出示46頁A部分的海報,並問:What’s this?(學生答:It’s a

poster)教師找到答案。

3.教師介紹生詞:There are lots of Chinese people in New York . They often

live in Chinatown. 教生詞Chinatown 。教師說:They always celebrate Chinese New

Year . Do you know why ?(學生答:They’re Chinese ,too )教師提問:What can

peopleeat at Chinese New Year ?(學生答:dumplings , Sichuan hot food

2、重點概覽

1、some和any

(1)some和any都表示“一些”之意,均可修飾可數名詞的複數,也可修飾不可數名詞,兩

詞的區別在於:some用在肯定句中,在問句與否定句中。

(2)但如果問句實際上表示邀請或請求的時候,我們用some,而不用any。此時我們希望從

對方口中得到肯定回答。

2、Wh-家族的成員

我們一塊來認識Wh-家族的成員,他們分別是what, who, whose, which, when, where,

why, how, 我們用“Wh-”問句來問一些人或事的資訊。我們要與他們幾兄弟交朋友的話

,得先了解他們的脾氣。

(1)what的漢語句字是“什麼”,用於對“事物和活動”進行提問,另外它還用來對“

哪一個或哪一些”提高,相當於which。

(2)who漢語名字是“誰”,對人提問。

(3)whose的意思是“誰的”,用來問東西的所屬。

(4)which要求從二者成一羣,加以選擇意思是“哪一個,哪一些”,用來對人或物提問。

(5)when對時間提問,表示“什麼時候”。

(6)where的職責是用來對“地點”進行提問,表示“哪兒,哪裏”。

(7)why用來對“原因”進行提問,表示“爲什麼”。

(8)how①“如何,怎樣”,用來詢問事情,狀況如何。

②“怎樣”用來提問方式或方法等。例如:
