1. I want to be a dancer. 我想要當舞蹈家。

(1)want例如:

I want some black tea.我想要些紅茶。

My sister wants to be a teacher when she grows up. 我妹妹長大後想要當教師

I want to go shopping this afternoon. 今天下午我想要去購物。

(2)dancer是由動詞dance加後綴-er變化而來的。

2. A healthy diet is very important for a dancer.健康的日常飲食對一個舞蹈演員來說是很重要的。

important, 形容詞,意爲“重要的”。be important for sb. 意爲“對某人來說重要”。

[拓展] importance, 名詞,意爲“重要性”。例如:

Do you know the importance of doing eye exercises? 你知道做眼保健操的重要性嗎?

3. It’s easy for me to get tired when I dance. 我跳舞時很容易疲勞。

(1)句中it爲形式主語,真正的主語爲動詞不定式to do sth.。因此,原句可改寫爲:To get tired when I dance is easy for me。例如:

It is important for us to read English every day.= To read English every day is important for us.

It’s not easy to learn English well.= To learn English well is not easy.

It’s great fun to play computer games.= To play computer games is great fun.

(2)句中的get爲連繫動詞,與tired構成系表結構。例如:

It’s getting dark. 天黑了。

The dish is getting cold. 菜涼了。

[拓展] get 作實義動詞,表示下列意思:

①“得到,收到”。例如:

He gets many presents from his friends on his birthday. 他生日那天收到了朋友的許多禮物。

② “拿,取”,後可接雙賓語。例如:

Get me a ticket, please. 請給我弄張票來。

4. I need to keep fit. 我需要保持健康。

(1)keep fit, 意爲“保持健康”

[拓展] keep+名詞或代詞+形容詞,構成動賓補結構(即:動詞+賓語+賓語補足語),表示“保持……某種狀態”。例如:

We should keep our classroom clean. 我們應該保持教室的乾淨。

Father is sleeping. Please keep the children quiet.父親在睡覺,請讓孩子們保持安靜。

(2)fit, 形容詞,意爲“健康的,結實的”。例如:

You look very fit. 你看起來很健康。

He doesn’t feel fit. 他感到身體不好。

5. I seldom eat sweet snacks like cakes, sweets or drink Coke between meals. 我很少在兩餐之間吃如蛋糕、糖果或可樂之類的甜零食。

(1)seldom, 表示頻率的副詞,意爲“很少,不常”,反義詞是often.例如:

She is seldom late for school. 她很少上學遲到。

(2)like意爲“例如,諸如”。

[拓展] like 作介詞還可表示“像”。例如:

(3)between, 意爲“在……之間”常指兩者之間。between… and… 意爲“在……和……之間”。

(1) too much例如:

You should not watch too much TV. 你不應該看太多的電視。

Too much homework makes me unhappy. 太多的作業使我很不高興。

(2)too many例如:

We shouldn’t play too many computer games. 我們不應該玩太多的電腦遊戲。

(3)much too例如:

This coat is much too big for me. 這件衣服對我來說太大了。

例如:

She is also from America.= She is from America, too.

I also like singing.= I like singing, too.

[拓展] either也可表示“也”,但通常用於否定句, 一般置於句末。例如:

We don’t go to school on Sundays. They don’t go to school on Sundays, either.我們星期天不上學,他們星期天也不上學。

top , 形容詞,意味“拔尖的,頭等的”。

(1)top 作形容詞,常表示“最高的,最頂層的”。例如:

My classroom is on the top floor of the building. 我的教室在這幢樓的頂層。

(2)top 作名詞,意爲“頂部,上層,蓋子”。例如:

There is a house at the top of the hill. 山頂有一間房子

(1)go swimming意爲“去游泳”。go+V-ing結構表示去進行帶有娛樂性的體育活動
