一、教材分析

本節課是新版新目標八年級上冊Unit8 How do you make a banana milk shake? SectionB 2a—2e,以感恩節及傳統節日的食物的製作過程爲話題，圍繞感恩節及傳統節日的食物的製作過程開展教學，指導學生利用節假日積極參加各種家務勞動或社會公益活動，養成熱愛勞動的良好習慣。

　二、教學目標

1.知識目標

1)透過看圖說話、師生問答、調查報告、聽錄音、角色扮演等形式，使學生掌握本課時詞彙Thanksgiving, pepper, oven, plate, gravy, traditional, autumn, traveler, celebrate, mix, fill, cover, sever, temperature等；讓學生學會表達某一傳統節日的食物的製作過程。

2） 透過師生問答、調查報告、聽錄音、調查採訪、做遊戲、觀看視頻等形式，使學生學會“…is a time to give thanks for food in the autumn.” “Here is one way to make turkey for a thanksgiving dinner.”等句子，並能用英語描述一種食物的製作過程。

2.能力目標：透過本節課的學習，能夠透過閱讀文章獲取傳統節日的資訊及結合圖片等手段介紹傳統節日食物的製作過程，培養學生的閱讀能力。

3.情感目標：指導學生利用節假日積極參加各種家務勞動或社會公益活動，養成熱愛勞動的良好習慣

1. 教師問學生

What’s your favorite food? 然後出示幾張老師和同學的照片的多媒體課件,叫學生討論他們最喜歡的食物是什麼,最後播放一段學生採訪的視頻,給出答案.

學生熱烈的討論,猜出答案.

透過師生互相交流以及猜測同學和老師喜歡吃的食物，最後播放視頻,激發學生學習英語的興趣，匯入新課。

2教師出示一張三明治的 圖片，問學生
