你知道詹天佑麼，他是我國傑出的愛國工程師，就是他修築了從北京到張家口的這一段鐵路。記得那時，詹天佑是在外國人的要挾·輕蔑·阻撓下施工的，在施工時，困難重重，而詹天佑卻迎難而上，在居庸隧道關山勢高，岩層厚，隧道里滿是泥漿。八達嶺隧道長一千一百多米，是居庸關的`三倍。這一個個困難就像攔路虎，但經過了詹天佑的思考，並實施了各種辦法，這些困難都迎刃而解了，這是需要何等的毅力呀!

不滿四年，京張鐵路就全線竣工了。所以，我們不得不承認詹天佑是一位傑出的愛國工程師，我們也要學習他這種不畏艱險的精神。
