一、教學設計

get the students to be aware of the terrible disasters ,meanwhile get them to face it ,treat it in a proper way, and never get discouraged.(使學生對災難有正確的認識,要用積極的態度來對待它。)

the students collect the information from the internet by themselves.(獨立蒐集資訊的能力)

Step 6: Imaginary work

Suppose there is an earthquake now, and you can take nothing but one thing, what will you take? Is it money, water, fruits, mobile phones, or a torch light?

Step 7: Proverbs

Get the students to collect some proverbs from the internet, which are something related to how to deal with disasters, what right attitude we should take and so on., then ask them to write them on the blackboard, and explain them to the students one by one.

Step 8: Homework

二、教學反思

透過本課教學,我有如下幾點反思

1、創新,以教材爲模板,重新設計教學內容。

上課前,我原來準備了reading,既The Night The Earth Didn’t Sleep 這一課的教學設計,但在製作課件過程中,發現我不知不覺已匯入很多課外內容,如:地球上的災難,本世紀的大地震,地震的前兆等等,而這些內容與本課息息相關,密不可分。如果加進去,容量過大,有捨本逐末之嫌,如果捨去,則少了許多必要的鋪墊和匯入,對於一篇記敘文來講,過多挖掘課文內容已顯多餘。於是我想,何不把它分成兩節課來處理?這一節我定它爲課外知識拓展,有了這樣的想法之後,思路豁然開朗,我可以以“地震”爲母板,重新設定教學內容。於是,一會的工夫,本課模型已躍然紙上:

(1)地球上的災難。(2)本世紀的大地震。(3)唐山大地震。(4)地震的前兆。(5)地震中的逃生。(6)想象性活動。(假如發生了地震,你只能拿一種東西,你會拿什麼?)(7)相關諺語。(8)作業。

2、以學生爲中心蒐集、整理、設計、反饋教學內容,讓學生在學習中體驗成功和快樂。

模型出來後,我又開始重新制作課件,這樣的設計無疑是要藉助網絡的,爲什麼不充分利用網絡的力量?打如關鍵詞搜尋,便可得到大量的資料,尋找關於災難和地震的資料並不難,難在篩選,我在這個過程中體驗到了許多快樂和煩惱,有“得來全不費工夫”的快樂;也有“踏破鐵鞋無覓處”的煩惱。於是,我想,資訊的整合難道只是教師守在電腦旁,不眨眼地蒐集和整理,爲我所用?我得到的快樂,我在整合過程當中的種種滋味,何不讓學生來體會一下?也許透過這種鍛鍊,他也會有意想不到的收穫呢!新課改,更強調學生自主學習,主動學習,讓他們親自動手,一定有益!

3.把課堂交給學生,給他們一片天空,還他們一份自信。

學生們辛辛苦苦搞出來的作品,一定要給他們一個展示的機會啊!於是又一個念頭跳出來,我把課堂交給他們,由他們去展示自己的東西,叫他們品嚐一下成功的快樂,同時也給他們一個機會,叫他們生生之間進行互動,反饋,比我在上邊要好得多。這麼多小組,這麼多作品,我從中精心挑選了八組,根據主題不同,每個主題選出兩到四組,每組自定發言人(speaker),這樣,七個主題下來,就有二十餘人有表演和展示的機會了,而且他們所展示的東西是他們用汗水和心血換來的,所以,展示過程中同學們沒有矯揉造作,顯得頗爲自信,也遊刃有餘,精彩之處,不時換來同學們的熱烈掌聲,我想這掌聲對他們參與者來說更是珍貴了,他們更在乎同學的評價。

5、一節課下來,我也有許多遺憾的地方。

比如:課件的製作,利用powerpoint 課件來製作英語課件,應該說是無庸置疑的,也是最好的,我的這節課因爲都是學生唱主角,大多數時間是學生在臺上穿梭往來,所以我設定了很多的超級連結,目的是節省時間,便於操作,但稍不小心,便會失去連結,只好從頭再來,原因是有七大主題,而每個主題又有不同的學生,所以需多次重複操作,課前演練時覺得還問題不大,可是上課時還是有一次失去了連結,只好從來。還有,同學們都是以組爲單位來製作自己的內容,組與組之間出現了某種主題的演示形式過於單一雷同的現象。如:地震中的逃生這一環節,有三組同學都用了正誤判斷的題型,且這種題型不利於同學的現場發揮,有個別同學在展示期間,明明知道同學們的答案是不一致的,需要解釋原因了,可是,語言能力有限,卡在那裏,成了“茶壺煮餃子,有貨倒不出。”其實,假如我在課前指導時及時糾正,換成圖文並茂的幻燈片,既利於臺上同學表達,又利於臺下同學理解,效果會更好。
