教學內容:
《義務教育課程標準實驗教科書-牛津小學英語》6B第一單元第四教時(D. Listen and write; E. Look, read and judge.)
教學目標:
1.複習鞏固tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, twin, minute, child, cute, also, chat.
2. 能正確地聽、說、讀詞彙:centimetre.
3. 複習鞏固Who’s taller than xxx? Whose school bag is heavier, yours or mine?
4. 進一步掌握形容詞的比較級。
教學重點:
1.複習鞏固tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, twin, minute, child, cute, also, chat.
2.複習鞏固Who’s …than…? Whose …is heavier, yours or mine?
3.進一步掌握形容詞的比較級。
教學難點:
進一步掌握形容詞的比較級。
課前準備:
1.圖片。
2.製作相關多媒體課件。
3.相關習題。
教學過程:
A. Free talk
1.以Winter Holiday爲話題,引出師生或學生之間的交談。
2.在交流過程中,教師引出圖片,透過圖片複習tall, taller, light, lighter, young, younger, old, older, heavy, heavier, small, smaller, big, bigger, strong, stronger, fat, fatter, thin, thinner等。
B. Presentation and practice
1.透過練習複習課文。
A、朗讀課文。
B、用括號裏所給單詞的正確形式填空。
Last Sunday morning, Su Hai _____ (go) for a walk in the park. She met Ben and his cousin Jack. They had a _____ (chat)。 Jack was not the only _____ (children) had a brother Jimmy. That’s a _____ (cute) dog. Jack was 6 years old. Ben was _____ (old) than him. Ben was also _____ (tall) and _____ (heavy) than him. Ben was as _____ (old) as Su Hai. 2.出示D 部分圖片,先請學生就圖片自己討論,運用本單元的`句型學生互相問答。
3.聽本課會話錄音,讓學生理解D部分會話。
4.根據剛纔的錄音,教師提問,學生試着回答會話的內容。
5.再次讓學生聽會話錄音,讓學生進一步理解會話。
6.開啟書,讓學生獨立完成第10頁的填空,同時請幾位學生到黑板上板書填空的內容。
7.學生完成後集體進行校對。
8.集體朗讀D部分。
C. Look, read and judge
1.請學生說自己在班級的優勢運用比較級的句型。
I’m taller than xxx.
I’m stronger than xxx.
2.出示E部分圖片,創設情景讓學生爭當goalkeeper.
3.讓學生看圖試着用英語描述圖中內容。
4.教師提問。
1、Is Ben younger than Wang Bing?
2、Is Ben shorter than Mike?
3、Who is stronger, Gao Shan or Mike?
4、Is the ball Wang Bing’s?
5、Who will be the goalkeeper?
5.新授centimetre.
T: Mike is taller than Ben. How tall is Mike?
S: (He is 165 centimetres.)
(板書centimetre)教師朗讀,學生跟讀。
T: How long is your pencil? / How many centimeters is your pencil?
學生互問互答進行操練。
6.讓學生開啟書第11頁,閱讀E部分內容然後判斷對錯。
7.學生完成後,集體校對後,集體朗讀E部分內容。
