1. 向學生們介紹一座大家都很熟悉的電影院，談論自己對這座建築物的感受。從而引出本課時中的一些重要單詞：comfortable seats, big screens, best sound, cheap, new movies, close to home, buy tickets quickly, popular…

2. 學生們聽老師的介紹，並學習這些新生詞。

3. 學生們看幻燈片，並學習記憶這些生詞。

1. How do you choose which movie theater to go to? Write the things in the box under “Important” or “Unimportant”.

3. 大屏幕出示形容詞和副詞的最進階形式的規則，學生們記憶或記在筆記本上。

二、用最進階來描述人物或事物的句型小結：

1. A + be + the 形容詞最進階 + 表示範圍的介詞詞組

2. A + 動詞+ (the) 副詞最進階 +（表示範圍的介詞詞組）

例句：

Ⅳ. Practice

Work on 3a:

1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in 3a and try to fill in the blanks with correct forms of the words in brackets.

2. 方法指導：應通讀全句，掌握短文大意；然後，根據句意及句子中有沒有表示範圍的詞組，來確定空格處的形容詞或副詞是用何級別形式。比如，在第一題中，句末有表示範圍的詞組in town，可知空格處應填bad的最進階形式，故應填worst。其他類似。

3. 學生們，按老師指導的方法進行閱讀，並逐句推敲每空應填什麼詞，在實際的運用提高自己的閱讀能力、分析能力及綜合運用能力。

4. 最後，教師與同學們一起校對答案，並對學生們有疑問的地方進行解釋。
