一、 教學目的和要求（Teaching aims and demands）

語法：

1. 情態動詞have to和must的用法

I have to take Jill to the hospital. Jill has to stay in bed when she is sick.

Do you have to stop eating ice cream?

No, I don’t have to, but I must eat less of it.

2. 系動詞後常用名詞、形容詞、副詞和介詞短語

He is a doctor. We felt very happy. You look well. She is in hospital.

二、 教學步驟

第69課

步驟1 複習

1 複習家庭作業

2 複習身體各部位的說法：眼睛、耳朵、嘴巴、頭、後背、胳膊、腳、腿等。

步驟2 介紹新語言項目

介紹這段對話（你扮演兩個角色）：

A：I don’t feel very well.

B：Oh dear ! What’s the trouble?

A：I’ve got a headache （touch your head）.

B：Oh, you’d better stay in bed.

看學生是否能夠猜出“trouble”一詞的意思，讓學生聽你讀，並重復。讓全變同學分兩組來練習這段對話，並確認學生使用手勢。

把對話改爲“I’ve got a cough（手勢示意）/I’ve caught a could（打噴嚏）”，並再練一遍。

讓學生兩人一組練習對話。

步驟3 朗讀、表演

學生用書第16頁，第1部分，語音磁帶第69課。放錄音帶，讓學生仔細聽，並

重複，要特別注意語調。（病人的語調和正常人的語調是不一樣。）

教學生“terrible”一詞，讓學生兩人一組做練習冊第69課練習一。

步驟4 找出答語，組成對話

學生用書第16頁第2部分。教學生serious一詞。把學生三人分一小組，用正確

的答語填寫空格，然後分角色朗讀對話。如果學生願意，也可以對醫生的情景更換新

的。正確的答案是：C，A，D，B，E.

步驟5 看、說、寫

學生用書第16頁第3部分。讓學生兩人一組做練習，並在課上覈對，正確答案是：

1 stay/lie in bed；2 has to drink a lot of water；3 has to take her temperature；4 has to take

medicine.

步驟6 練習冊

做練習冊第69課，練習2，3。練習2爲一個課堂競賽，讓學生們在班裏找三個

他們平時不太說話的同學，詢問他們在家不得不作什麼。老師首先複習問句“What do

you have to do at home？”並寫在黑板上，然後在做練習的學生中間走一走，確認他們

在用英文對話，而並不只是把答案寫下來，互相傳遞，卻並不對話。

如時間允許，練習3應單獨做。

家庭作業

完成練習冊上的練習。

把練習3寫在練習本上。

第70課

步驟1 複習

1 覈對家庭作業。讓學生朗讀他們寫的病假條。

2 複習學生用書第16頁第二部分的對話，讓學生分小組在課堂上表演對話。

步驟2 閱讀準備

學生用書第17頁第1部分。讓學生分小組在課堂上表演對話。

步驟3 介紹新語言項目

讓學生看學生用書第17頁上的圖。問學生What is the boy doing? He’s dreaming.

What do you think he is dreaming about? About planting a tree.說I had the worst dream last

night. I was running and running but I couldn’t wake up. Finally I woke up and stopped

dreaming. Then I went back to sleep, but as soon as I fell asleep again, I started dreaming that

I was running and running again. Today I’m very tired. 在黑板上寫下生詞，wake，wake

up，asleep和as soon as.教學生這些新單詞和短語。教asleep和awake. 這些形容詞在

句中經常被用作表語形容詞，如：The boy is asleep/awake. 因此習慣用語fast asleep應

該作爲固定搭配交給學生，因爲人不可能slow asleep或fast/slow awake. 因此，fast asleep

是一個慣用語。

步驟4 讀

學生用書第17頁第2部分，語音磁帶第70課。問Did Roy finally get a good night

sleep？放錄音帶，讓學生聽並找答案。（No，he was even more tired！）開啟書，在放一

次錄音，讓學生跟着錄音朗讀課文。教單詞和短語，plant，pill，relax，again and again，

stop…from和difficult.

步驟5 練習

做練習冊第70課練習1、2。

讓學生兩人一組，至少用三個新學的單詞或短語寫下你的一個夢。讓學生分小組

互相讀一讀他們的夢。

步驟6 練習冊

練習冊第70課，練習3應該在課堂上口頭完成。讓學生把句子翻譯成中文。

家庭作業

完成練習冊上的練習。

複習新學的單詞和短語。

第71課

步驟1 複習

1 讓學生們透過他們寫過的夢複習一下學過的新單詞。

2 複習第70課的課文，讓學生說出Roy做的是什麼夢，在他聽完音樂後做的是什麼夢。

步驟2 介紹新語言項目

老師說I like to eat chocolate. It tastes delicious, but I mustn’t eat too much, or I’ll become too heavy. 問學生Which do you like to eat that tastes delicious？在黑板上寫一些食物，問學生Which foods mustn’t you eat too much of？注意：在西方文化中，說別人胖或是體重太重是不禮貌的，即便是丈夫，爲了保持融洽的關係，也不能說他們的妻子胖，這不是個討論的話題。只有醫生纔可以告訴他/她的病人他們的體重過重，他們應減肥毅力與他們的健康。

步驟3 練習

學生用書第18頁第1部分，語音磁帶第71課。合上書本，老師問How much chocolate

can the wife eat？放錄音並確認答案（not too much）。開啟書。把學生按男女生分成兩

組，讓男生讀男的那部分，女生讀女的那部分。

圖中的食物爲：1冰激凌；2法式油炸食品/油炸土豆片；3蛋糕；4肉；5乳酪和

黃油

步驟4 看、搭配、讀

學生用書第71課，第18頁，第2部分。和學生一起通讀句子，指出緊跟形容詞

後得系動詞be，taste，seem，fell和smell。用動作說明新單詞angry，hard和smell的

意思。讓學生兩人一組，將句子與圖搭配。

如果時間允許，就在課上做這個遊戲。在課前把第二部分出現的形容詞分別寫在

紙上，把紙放進一個包裏，把學生分成兩隊，叫一個學生到教室前面，讓他/她抽一張

並用動作表示出該形容詞，猜對形容詞的一對得一分，分多的一組獲勝。

步驟5 介紹新語言項目

提問What do you want to become when you grow up？教become一詞，在黑板上寫

上：I want to become a …when I grow up. 讓學生告訴他的同伴他長大後想做什麼。讓

幾個同學與大家分享他們的同伴的答案，如：Li Lei want’s to become a doctor.

步驟6 讀

學生用書第18頁，第3部分，語音磁帶第71課。在閱讀Florence Nightingale的

故事前讓學生瀏覽全文並找出大概意思。（Florence Nightingale become a famous

nurse.）教學生rich一詞。現在，讓學生瀏覽關於Henry Norman Bethune的故事，並

找出下列問題的答案Where was Dr. Bethune born？（Canada.）and why did he become very

popular in China？（He came to help the Chinese people.）讓學生在學生用書第137頁的

註解中再閱讀一些有關Florence Nightingale和Dr. Henry Bethune的情況。如果因爲時

間限制，可以把這作爲家庭作業留給學生。

讓學生向他們的同伴練習朗讀這些段落，注意節奏和語調。

步驟7 練習冊

練習冊第71課，Exx. 1-3，Ex. 1可以以小組形勢完成。讓幾個小組與全班一起

說出他們的答案。Ex. 2可以在課上口頭完成。如果可能，讓學生把中文句子在不參考

書的情況下譯成英文。Ex. 3 Where was Dr. Bethune born？（Canada.）and why did he

become very popular in China？（He came to help the Chinese people.）也可以在課上口

頭完成。

完成練習冊上的練習。

把練習冊第71課，Ex. 1寫在練習本里。

第72課

註釋：很多西方國家醫生的辦公室和中國醫生的辦公室不一樣的。在西方，醫生的辦

公室不在醫院裏，他們的辦公室大多都在辦公大樓中，這些大樓中一般都有很多不同

的醫生，或許還有藥物實驗室。如果你要看醫生，你必須先打電話，即便是緊急情況

也不例外。如果病人有急診，而醫生不在他/她的辦公室，病人可以到醫院的急診室，

那裏的待命醫生會爲病人看病。如果病人要見醫生，必須提前預約。許多醫生都非常

忙，所以病人有時甚至於要提前一個月預約。病人看醫生時，要在候診室等候醫生叫

他們的名字，然後病人會被帶到一個有一張椅子和一張牀的小房間中，病人要在那裏

等醫生來。醫生與病人說話時，房間中除了護士不能再有其他人，以確保病人的隱私。

西方國家大多數人都有家庭醫生，他們會維持30-40年，他們通常不回去看其他醫生，

除非他們有家庭醫生無法治療的特殊病症需要專家診斷，這些專家也是由他們的家庭

醫生推薦來的。

2 複習學生用書第71課的系動詞，讓學生用這些詞造句。

3 複習學生用書第71課的第三部分，讓學生講一講Florence Nightingale和白求恩大夫。

步驟2 聽

學生用書第19頁，第1部分，語音磁帶第72課。練習冊第72課，Ex. 1。合上書，對學生說Mr. Brown’s head hurts. 問What part of his head hurts?放錄音讓學生找出答案（頭的前部。）然後透過練習冊Ex. 1的問題，確定學生理解這些問題，放一至兩遍錄音，讓學生聽並找出答案。讓學生兩人一組討論他們的答案，最後在全班覈對答案。

D：Good morning, Mr. Brown! What can I do for you?

B：Good morning, doctor. I don’t feel well these days.

D：What’s the trouble?

B：Well, my head hurts.

D：Your head? Where?

B：Here, the front part.

D：I see.

B：Also my left leg.

D：Well, it looks all right to me! What’s wrong with it?

B：I can’t move it!

D：Hmm.

B：And my right hand, too.

D：What’s wrong with your right hand?

B：It hurts.

D：Well, Mr. Brown. What have you been doing these days?

B：I have been writing a book. I need to finish it this month.

D：I see. I think you have been working too long in front of the computer. You must not work

so hard. You’d better rest for three days.

B：I see. You may be right. Well, thank you.

The answer are：Section 1：1 His head hurts；2 His right hand hurts；3 He can’t move his left

leg（The students can answer these in any order），Section 2：1 He must not work so hard；

2 He’d better rest for three days.

步驟4 讀，答

1 學生用書第19-20頁第3部分。口語錄音帶第72課。對學生說：Look at the picture. What can you see? What’s happening? 現在快速讀這個對話並找出下列這個問題的答案：What’s wrong with Mrs. Brown? 讓學生找到答案。（She eats too much food and doesn’t take enough exercise.）

2教學生詞和短語：instead of，enough和thin。讓學生更加細心地讀對話。讓他們讀完這個故事之後兩個人一組討論這些問題。與全班一起覈對答案。過一遍對話，處理一下語言點和詞彙。向學生指出instead of和instead這兩個詞語的不同用法。

3放錄音讓學生聽並讓他們重複。然後讓學生用通常的方式兩人一組練習對話。如果時間允許的話，讓幾組學生爲全班表演對話。

4和全班一起做練習冊第72課練習2。

步驟5 寫

學生用書第20頁第4部分。讓學生分別給他們的筆友寫一封信。鼓勵學生在寫信時使用新的詞彙和語法。如果時間不夠，可把這一部分留作家庭作業。下面是一封信的範例：

Dear Emily,

I’m sorry to hear you are ill again. My mom often tells me something about how to stay healthy. I will tell you what she tells me. She often says,“Drink more milk and water.”She asks me to eat more fruit and vegetables. She says that I should eat vegetable at least three times a day. She also encourages me to go outside and play. I like to play basketball with my friends. Maybe you could do the same. I think my mom’s suggestions are good ones. Maybe you can try the same and see if it helps. I hope you get well soon. Your penfriend,

過一遍複習要點18。如果需要，給學生一些額外的練習：你可以從以前的課文中

複習對話。

在“常用表達法”上花一些時間。複習本單元的生詞，特別是和疾病有關的詞。

處理一下學生提出的語言特點。

讀下面的聽寫材料：

Tom and his mother * are at the doctor’s.* Tom says * he has got a headache and a cough.*

2 讓學生製作寫有“健康長壽（Live healthy，live long）”的海報。學生可以在海

報上列出哪些是不好的習慣，如，抽菸、酗酒、鍛鍊身體不夠、飲食過多等。鼓勵學生依照下圖創造性地製作一張海報。
