Step 1 Warming up

Show the pictures on CAI quickly. See who say out the most words in ten seconds. Who is the winner?

Step2 Revision and presentation

1. Ss listen to the teacher and show the things they hear .

2. Revise the words of some school things ,using the patterns :

Step3 Listening and imitating

1. Ask a student to say the things in the pictures ( Section A 2a ).

2. Play the tape for the first time ,first just listen. and Second listen, get the Ss to check the things in 2a.

3. Listen and complete 2b. First read the words in the box on page 14 aloud. Now read the conversation and complete the sentence with one word from the list.

4. Let’s check the answers.

Step4 Pairwork

1. Let’s ask about the things in the classroom. Then we are going to make our own conversations.

2. SectionA2c:Ss make up their conversations using the things in the classroom .

3. SectionA2d:Role-play the conversation some pairs to act it out in front of the whole class

Step5. Consolidation

1. Read and remember the Grammar Focus .

2. Remind Ss of the use of the possessive pronouns and the Possessive Case of Nouns .

Step6. General training

1. Complete the questions and answers about each picture in 3a

2 the questions and complete the answers in 3b.

3. Collect the names of school things . Make conversations like 2b.

Step7. Find the owner

1 a box in which there are many things from the class ,and hold up a pen from the box ,asking one student Is this your pen ?Until get the answer from the student Yes, it is.

Ss to play this game one student come up and pick up one thing from the box ,then go around to ask Is this your ……?until he /she finds the owner another one plays the game.

教學感悟與反思

本課時中有大量的學生語言交際活動,學生透過結對合作和小組合作的練習方法,學生已能基本用英語進行交際,使語言知識(物主代詞)在完成任務的過程中得到運用和鞏固,同時透過模仿練習,也能使學生對一般疑問句的熟練問答。但小組活動還沒有每個人動起來,對於部分口語基礎薄弱的學生,需進一步的學習指導和培養。
