1. mine pron. 我的

mine 是名詞性物主代詞,用在句子中代替名詞。而my是形容性物主代詞,只能在句子中表示“某人的”。

例句:This book is mine, that one is yours . 這本書是我的,那一本書是你的。

根據句意及漢語提示,寫出單詞的正確形式。

Lily’s parents are both doctors while _____ (我的) are both teachers.

批註:學生成績較差的孩子也可以把下面的物主代詞重新複習一下:

2. nothing pron.. 沒有什麼

nothing 是不定代詞,用在句子中代替物體,意爲“沒有什麼”,具有否定意義,相當於not anything。

例:We know nothing about the history of Sunshine Town. 我們對陽光城的歷史一無所知。

3. quiet adj. 安靜的,寂靜的

quiet 用作形容詞,修飾人等有生命物體時表示“安靜的”之意,修飾地方、時間、海洋大地時表示“寂靜”之意。

常用be quiet “安靜”;keep quiet “保持安靜”;a quiet sea “平靜的海洋”等。後加ly 構成副詞形式。

例:I am walking in the quiet street.我行走在寧靜的街道上。

4. fresh adj. 新鮮的

do some jogging “慢跑鍛鍊”等。

例:Jogging is important for some old people.對於一些老年人來說,慢跑鍛鍊很重要。

批註:本題考查句意理解和單詞拼寫。of 是介詞,後接表示行爲的動詞jog時,

6. famous adj. 出名的,著名的

famous 用作形容詞,表示“出名的,著名的”,可以用作表語、定語、賓語補足語等句子成分。

可以構成be famous for “因…….(某事)而出名/著名”。

be famous as “因…….(身份)而出名/著名”。

例:Su Yang is famous because of swimming . 孫楊因爲游泳而出名了。

7. miss vt. 錯過,失去

miss用作及物動詞,表示“錯過,失去”之意,後面可以跟名詞、代詞作賓語,後接動詞時,要用v+ing 形式。

2. key n 鑰匙,答案,鍵,關鍵

key用作名詞,意爲“鑰匙;答案;關鍵”,其複數形式是keys。

(1) key表示“鑰匙”之意時,常用a key to the door “這個門的鑰匙”固定搭配。

例:I don’t have the key to the front door.我沒有前門的鑰匙。

(2) key表示“答案”之意時,常用the key to the question “這個問題答案”固定搭配。

例:I know the key to the first question.我知道第一個問題的答案。

(3) key表示“鍵”之意時,是指電腦、打字機、鋼琴等“鍵盤上”的“鍵”。

例:There are six rows of keys on the keyboard.這個鍵盤上有六排鍵。

(4) key 也可以用作名詞,表示“關鍵”性的人或人事。

例:The man may the key of the school.那個人可能是這個學校的關鍵人物。

n 環,圈;戒指

(2)ring用作名詞,也可以表示“打電話”之意,常用give sb. a ring “給某人打電話”固定搭配。

例:He often give me a ring on Sunday. 他經常星期天給我打電話。

4. all over 到處,遍及

(1) all over 表示“到處”之意時,與副詞everywhere 意義接近。

(2) all over 表示“遍及”之意時,相當於介詞throughout ,後面要接名詞、代詞等作賓語:

all over the world “全世界”.

例:Great changes have taken place all over China. 全中國已經發生了巨大的變化。

5. raise vt 飼養,使升高

(1) raise ,及物動詞,表示“飼養”,後接“飼養”的動物名稱。

例: My mother raises lots of pigs. 媽媽養了很多豬。

(2) raise ,及物動詞,也可表示“使升高”,後接“使升高”的人、物等。

例:He raises his voices at last。 最後他提高了聲音。

例1 Some flowers have strong smells.

例2 The smell from the meat is very bad.

The Farmer, His Horse, and His son

Once there was an old farmer, with a horse which was almost as old as himself. He set out one morning with his son to sell the horse before it died. Father and son walked, because the farmer did not want the horse to be too tired. They met two men on the road who said, "Why are you walking, farmer? You have a horse, It's a long way to market(市場).
