③彌補,補償,相當於replace something that has beenlost。例如:

Because of his illness,he had to make up the missed lessons.由於生病,他必須把落下的課補上。 ‘

We must make up for the lost time.我們一定要把失去的時間補回來。 .

④和解,調停。相當於end a quarrel with someone and become friendly again。例如: ’

(2)charge的用法

①n.負責;責任。例如:
