persuade的用法及例句

persuade作“使相信，使確信”解時，其後可接of引出相信的內容。當of的賓語是that從句時， of須省略。

persuade into可表示“說服某人做某事”; persuade out則表示“說服某人不做某事或放棄某想法”。

persuade可用於被動結構。

例句：

She had persuaded herself that life was not worth living.

她自認爲人生沒有價值。

Recent information may persuade the board to reconsider.

最近得到的資訊也許會使董事會重新考慮。

I had a terrible job to persuade her to come.
