Step I Presentation

教師展示足球圖片，並提問：Do you like football? Do you often watch football matches? How about your football skill? Do you often play football?

Step II Listen and answer

教師讓學生聽對話錄音（part I read）。並回答下列問題：

Who were the first to score at the second half?

Who scored twice in the last six minutes?

Step III Read and answer

教師指導學生閱讀課文（part I read）並回答下列問題：

How did the boys get their score in the second half?

Did the boy work hard at the second half?

How did Miss Wang think about those girls?

Step IV Practice

自動展示圖片，教師指導學生根據課文part 2 practise的對話，編造相似的對話。

Step V Read and answer

教師指導學生閱讀課文（part III read and act）並回答下列問題：

Did Li Lan watch the match yesterday?

What was Li Lan’s feeling about the result?

What are the boys feeling about the result?

Step VI Video: a football match

教師播放課文視頻讓學生觀看加深他們對對話內容的印象。之後讓學生朗讀對話，或者將學生分成若干小組進行角色演練對話。必要時請學生代表進行課堂對話演示。

Step VII Language points

教師講解課文出現的語言點。

Step VIII Useful vocabulary about football

教師展示圖片並教授一些與足球有關的新詞彙。

Step IX Do you know it?

教師展示足球世界盃獎盃的圖片讓學生辨認，教師簡略介紹世界盃的由來等課外知識。

Step X Do you know them?

教師展示一些國內外的足球明星的圖片讓學生辨認，提高他們學習積極性。

Step XI Oral practice

教師佈置課堂口語練習，組織學生進行課堂小組活動：讓學生回憶2002世界盃足球賽的情況，並根據幻燈片中給出的對話模式進行對話演示。

Step XII Exercises

教師佈置課堂習題。稍後簡略作課堂總結。
