一、教法建議

【拋磚引玉】

本單元透過一封美國筆友的信介紹了一名美國中學生的暑期生活，對剛度過暑假考上高中的新生來說具有現實的意義，爲學生結合暑期自身經歷，用英語操練提供了良好的話題。透過新學期第一單元的教學，要使學生調整心態與學習方法，儘快適應高中英語教學，順利地完成從初中到高中的過渡；複習初中學習過的各種時態的特殊疑問句，進一步熟悉英文書信的格式。

本單元的能力要求：

⒈Lesson 1：

A.重複：重複教師或同學的例句，訓練瞬間記憶。

B.造句：用對話中出現的詞或短語造句，在操練中掌握新詞語。

C.背誦：背誦對話，做到熟練掌握。

D.應用：用第1課中出現的詞或詞組編寫新對話並表演。

⒉Lesson 2：

A：複述：①簡單複述，講述信的主要內容即可；

②用5-7句概括信的內容.

B：口頭作文：在腦子裏設計一封給同學的信，並口頭表達。

⒊Lesson3：

A.造句：用所學的疑問詞where，which，what等造句。

B.對話：用所學的疑問句where，which，what等當堂編寫對話進行操練。

⒋Lesson4：

A.造句：用be good at，enjoy，等詞語造句或重複教師所給的例句。

B.口頭作文：用be good at，enjoy，等詞語口頭作文，3-5句即可。

【學法指要】

⒈ -I go to school by bike. What about you?

【解答】答案爲B。"so+be情態動詞+ 主語"表示用謂語所述情況同前文提及的情況一樣，意爲"也一樣"、"也這樣"。該句型所使用的be動詞、情態動詞或助動詞要根據上文去變化。

如果時間、條件允許，可以學習下面句型，即so+主語+ be/助動詞/情態動詞，並與原句型加以對比，注意兩種句型與原句主語的異同。

例如：

①A: It?/FONT>s a lovely day, isn?/FONT>t it?

B: So it is.

②My father promised to buy me a toy car and so he did.

⒉After saying hello to me, he went on __________.

【解答】答案爲C。"go on doing sth ."意爲"繼續作（原來作的）某事"，"go on to do sth ."是"接着作（另一件）某事"，"go on with"意爲"繼續作某事"，相當於go on doing sth .，但 with的賓語必須是名詞或代詞。

【解答】答案爲B。"as a result of"是短語介詞，後面必須接名詞，才能形成介詞短語。"as a result" 是短語副詞，在句中作狀語。because是連詞，後接從句；because of 是介詞，後面可接名詞。選項C如爲Because of 亦可成爲正確答案。since用作介詞時，意爲"自從"，其短語不是原因狀語。

⒋I prefer rice ________ bread.

A. to B. than C. to eat D. than eating

【解答】答案爲A。"prefer A to B"意爲"喜歡A，而不喜歡B"，"A"和"B"可以是名詞，也可以是動名詞，但必須是同類結構。又如：Mary prefers singing to dancing.

【解答】答案爲D。" in one?/FONT>s opinion"是固定搭配，意爲"依照某人的看法"、"據某人看來"。

【妙文賞析】

An Unusual Holiday

This summer I had unusual experience. It was raining heavily. Because of this the river near my town rose and flooded some of the rice field. The village was in danger.

The villagers including me went to the dam to make it strong. The PLA men also came to a help. We fought hard for three days. Finally the dam was saved.

The village was saved.

Though I become very tired after I returned home, I was very happy. I learned a lot from the villagers, the PLA men. I also learn a lot from my unusual experience.

短文改錯

此題要求你對一篇文章改錯。先對每一行做出判斷是對還是錯。如果是對的，在該行右邊橫線上劃一個勾（√）；如果有錯誤（每行不會多於一個錯誤），則按情況改錯如下：
