影片人物上依然靠希亞的出色表演，特魯圖魯的滑稽表現來豐富影片的內容，對於女主角，觀衆們一致性地表現了不滿，沒有梅甘·福克斯的性感和火辣，當然也不會演戲，雖然梅甘也不會演，但是梅甘會當好花瓶，竭力去表現自己會演戲。片中加上了大量的圍繞現實的問題，比如就業，展現了當今經濟危機下就連常青藤盟校的高材生想找一份滿意的工作都是如此困難。
