waiting for後面加什麼

wait的'用法簡述如下：

一、wait可單獨使用.例如：

Wait till the bus stops before getting off．等公共汽車停了再下車.

I can wait if you can't get there on time．如果你不能按時到這裏,我可以等.

二、wait後接表示所等的人、物的名詞或代詞時,應與介詞for連用.例如：

She is waiting for her mother．她正在等她媽媽.

They are waiting for the train．他們正在等火車.

三、wait後接表示目的的動詞不定式.例如：

They are waiting to have dinner．他們正等着吃飯.

We are waiting to go there．我們等着去那裏.
