1.表示在某範圍或者空間內的某一點，常譯作“在……內/裏面”。如：The story happened in Sichuan Province.故事發生在四川省內。You can see thousands of stars twinkling in the sky.你會看到成千上萬顆星星在空中閃耀。

2.表示在某物的形體或範圍中，常譯作“在……內，在……中”。如：She was still lying in bed at eight this morning.今天早上八點鐘時她還在被窩裏躺着。He was so hurried that he left the key in the lock.他是如此地匆忙，竟把鑰匙忘在鎖裏面了。
