那麼在什麼情況下三者可以相互轉換呢?根據其結構特點我們可以看出：

一、與的轉換

當that引導的從句爲否定式時，從句主語與主語的主語相同時，可轉換爲結構;若從句主語與主句的主語不相同時，可轉換爲 結構。例如：

He is so young that he can't go to school.→ He is too young to go to school.

The box is so heavy thathe can'tliftit.→The box is too heavy for him to lift.

二、與enough to的轉換

1.當that引導的從句爲肯定式時，若從句主語與主句主語相同時，可轉換爲 enough to結構;若從句主語與主句主語不相同時，可轉換爲enough for 結構。例如：

Tom is so old that he can go to school.→Tom is old enough to go to school.

The box is so light that the child can liftit.→The box is light enough for the child to lift.

2.當that引導的從句爲否定式時，若從句主語與主句主語相同時，可轉換爲enough to的否定結構;若從句主語與主句主語不相同時，可轉換爲 enough for 的否定結構。注意：轉換後的形容詞(副詞)要用其相應的反義詞。例如：

The man is so old that he can't go to work.→The man isn't young enough to go to work.

The desk is so heavy that I can't moveit.→The desk isn't light enough for me to move.

三、enough to的句式爲否定式時，enough to可以轉換爲結構。但轉換後的結構中的形容詞(副詞)要用其相應的反義詞。例如：

He is not old enough to do the job.→He is too young to do the job.

Tom didn't walk slowly enough for us to keep up with him.→Tom walked too fast for us to keep up with him.
