他，古銅色的臉上爬滿了皺紋，混濁的眼睛，看出他飽經風霜。挺挺的鼻子被寒風吹得青一塊紫一塊，暗紫色的嘴脣上滿是傷口，這就是那位不論春夏秋冬都坐在牆角的補鞋老人。

每次碰到補鞋老人，我心裏都暗暗發笑，都這個時代了，誰還補鞋啊！他真傻！但那個冬天的傍晚，我從興趣班走回家的路上，發現鞋底不知什麼時候破了個大洞，刺骨的'寒風直往腳底鑽，我冷得瑟瑟發抖，“寒從腳起”呀，離家還有好長一段路。我無助地向四周環顧，又看見了他。我猶豫了一下，但還是決定把鞋補一下。我坐到他那小板凳上，把鞋遞給他，他擡起頭深沉地看了我一眼，便從陳舊的工具箱裏取出工具縫補起來。我打量着他，這個補鞋老人瘦得像蘆葦杆，身上只披了一件夾克衫，我摸了摸鼻尖冷得冰涼，這弱不禁風的老人不冷嗎？“好了。”老人把鞋還給了我，我看到了老人那隻手貼滿了創可貼，讓人看起來心疼。我穿上鞋正想：補鞋要的錢多不多啊？他便說：“你走吧。”我驚訝地問：“你還沒收錢呢！”他苦笑着搖搖頭說：“老頭子，又不是缺錢，只是人老了，總想在生命的最後做點好事，爲這個祖國盡一份力嗎。”我愣了，一個老人爲了大衆，可以忍受寒風的痛苦，卻不索取一點點報酬，我眼眶一熱撇下20元錢跑了，多好的老人啊！無私爲社會奉獻，我要向他致敬！這件事我一直難以忘懷，老人的精神永遠留在我的心中。
